Today is a special day as I celebrate a huge milestone—Laser Reverse’s first birthday! 🥳 Reflecting on this past year fills me with immense pride and gratitude for how far this little dream has come. What started as a vision has grown into something beyond what I could have imagined, and I’m so excited to share this moment with all of you.
A couple of years ago, I made the decision to pursue a career as a Laser Technician. It wasn’t a decision I made lightly. I spent countless hours researching, planning, and weighing my options to ensure I had the best training and equipment to achieve my vision. My journey led me to Dermalase, a leading name in the industry, where I completed my advanced training on December 11, 2023. That day marked the beginning of something incredible. The training provided me with the expertise to deliver a wide range of treatments, including tattoo removal, hair removal, thread vein removal, and skin rejuvenation. More importantly, it equipped me with the confidence to start my own business.
The idea for Laser Reverse came from a deeply personal place. I had a terrible experience with tattoo removal at another clinic, and it left me feeling disappointed, disheartened, and, quite frankly, frustrated. That experience sparked a fire in me to do better—to create a space where people could feel safe, cared for, and confident that they were receiving the highest quality treatments. From the start, my passion has been to help others by offering services rooted in advanced technology, expert knowledge, and genuine care.
Starting a business from scratch is never easy, and this journey has been no exception. There were challenges, setbacks, and moments where doubt crept in. But each hurdle taught me something valuable, and every small win reminded me why I started in the first place. Resilience became my best ally, and the rewards of perseverance have been truly worth it. Watching my business grow month after month has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
This past year has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve had the privilege of welcoming so many amazing clients through my doors, each one with their own unique stories and goals. Knowing that I’ve played a part in helping them feel more confident in their own skin is the most rewarding part of my job.
Another surreal moment came when Laser Reverse was honored at the Beauty and Aesthetic Awards, where we won the title of ‘Best for Laser.’ Shortly after, I was thrilled to receive ‘Highly Commended’ at the Scottish Beauty Industry Awards. Being recognized in such a talented and competitive industry felt like a dream come true. These moments were a reflection not just of my hard work but also of the trust and support from my clients.
